A few useful answers

The details of getting the bill out.

Can I invoice tracked time and expenses?

Yes. For time-and-materials projects, choose the uninvoiced billable hours and expenses to bring into a draft. Review the line items and totals before sending. You can use free-form lines for fixed-fee work.

Can I create an invoice without tracked time?

Yes. Start a free-form invoice and add your own descriptions, quantities, and prices. You have the same control over dates, payment terms, taxes, discounts, and notes.

What does my client receive?

Your client receives an email with your message and a link to a web invoice. They can read it in their browser and use the print option to print it or save it as a PDF.

How do overdue reminders work?

Set the number of days an invoice should be overdue before the first reminder, then choose how often reminders repeat. Select the recipients and write the message for that invoice.

Can clients pay an invoice online?

Online checkout is not currently available. Record payments you receive outside Unify Revenue to keep the invoice’s payment history, status, and balance current.

A good invoice starts with a clear record.
