The shortest complete workflow

  1. 1

    Create reference data

Add a client, confirm the tasks you use, and invite the people who will track work.

  2. 2

    Create a project

Choose its billing model, rate, budget, tasks, and assigned team.

  3. 3

    Track and submit time

Enter time in day or week view. Stop any running timer before submitting the week.

  4. 4

    Approve the week

From Time → Pending approval, review the submitted entries and approve them.

  5. 5

    Create and send an invoice

Build a draft from uninvoiced time and expenses, review it, then send it to a client contact.

  6. 6

    Reconcile payment

After receiving funds outside Unify Revenue, open the invoice and choose Record payment to update its balance.

Use one currency per invoice

Unify Revenue keeps invoice totals in each invoice’s own currency and does not combine unlike currencies.

Who can complete it

Administrators and managers can create projects, approve timesheets, run organization reports, and manage invoices. Members can track their own time and expenses but do not receive invoice access.
